And stories are the study of persons through time and space.
Both pertain to change – and its impact on place/person.
Therefore, by my account, the Geography of Stories is : the study of persons in places over and through time and space.
or: any time spent in another’s skin and space exploring their changes whilst challenging your own perceptions of life and it’s meaning. All topography included.
Or best yet: A day well spent.
I am not writing a review but The Secret Life of Bees by Sue Monk Kidd is a great study of the geography of stories.
